Federal agency lead supporting three White House-designated Workforce Hubs while at the United States Department of Transportation. Convened local government, workforce organizations, unions, contractors, and community organizations to develop workforce programs and local hire strategies aligned to infrastructure investments— resulting in local policy changes, scaled workforce programs, and the creation of hundreds of new apprenticeship opportunities across three cities.

Supported a regional education foundation in securing a multi-million dollar philanthropic grant to launch new high school pathways into registered apprenticeship. Provided expertise on partnership with local building trades council so that students can get jobs when they graduate.

Helped nonprofit organizations secure philanthropic funding to coordinate cross-regional learning across five jurisdictions implementing infrastructure workforce initiatives. The cohort is enhancing the understanding of how apprenticeship readiness programs and state/local construction contract policy create economic opportunity for residents.

Led development of a national best-practices report at the U.S. Department of Transportation documenting effective construction workforce strategies across 10 jurisdictions and 9 programs to inform future federal and state investments.
